The game collects nothing. The website keeps only your email address, and only if you join the waitlist.
Who we are
Hangar Valley is made by Woodst, a company registered in the Netherlands (KvK 83100172). Woodst is responsible for the data described here.
Questions, or a request to see or delete your data: [email protected].
The game
- Hangar Valley does not collect, store or send any personal data.
- No account, no analytics, no ads.
- The early access version does not use the microphone. You can play without an internet connection.
Planned: voice. We plan to add voice support later, so you can talk to the control tower through the microphone. Before that update comes out, this page will say what the microphone is used for and where any audio goes.
Your purchase, your Meta account and the data your Quest itself collects are handled by Meta, under the Meta Privacy Policy. We do not receive that data.
The website
Waitlist. If you join, we store your email address and the time you joined. Nothing else. We use it for one thing: a single email when early access opens. We never sell or share it. We do this because you asked us to (your consent). After that email has gone out, we delete the list. You can ask us to remove your address sooner at any time.
Spam protection. To stop abuse, the waitlist keeps your IP address in memory for about an hour. It is never saved.
Server logs. Like most web servers, ours keeps a technical log of each request: IP address, page, time, browser and the page you came from (referrer). Requests that fail, such as a missing page, also go to an error log with the IP address and page. We use these logs only to keep the site safe and working. They are deleted automatically after 15 days.
No cookies, no trackers. The site loads no outside fonts or scripts. The music plays only when you press the button.
Where. The site and the waitlist run on a server we rent from Vultr, in the United States.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or withdraw your consent. Email us and we will reply within a month. You can also file a complaint with the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
If this policy changes, the new version will be on this page, with a new date.
